The Emman was born from love, resilience, and the memory of a baby boy who inspired a powerful journey. In 2020, founder Syurii-Kiaira Smith dreamed of creating a food business to provide for her son, Emman-Kairo. Tragically, Emman-Kairo passed away from SIDS in 2021, leaving Syurii-Kiaira in deep grief. Through prayer and determination, she transformed her pain into purpose.

Named in Emman-Kairo’s honor, The Emman serves Chicago-inspired cuisine, offering iconic dishes like Italian beef sandwiches and Chicago-style hot dogs. Each meal is crafted with love, paying homage to the city’s vibrant flavors and the enduring strength of family.

The Emman isn’t just about food; it’s a movement to support others facing grief. A portion of every sale is donated to initiatives that bring comfort and hope to those navigating loss.
